"After having read a lot of negative reviews we were a little apprehensive about the hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were able to check-in an hour and a half early and staff were all very friendly and professional. Room was lovely and everywhere was very clean. "This hotel is a little gem, steeped in history and very central. The internal lounge area with it's palms and exotic plants is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel so long as you are not looking for luxury. There are lovely views from many rooms and the pool is good. Shame they don't offer tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Fixtures and fittings are sadly just looking a bit tired."
