This is a classic beach cottage at it's best! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this quaint cottage close to everything Gulf Shores has to offer. Located in the heart of Gulf Shores in close proximity to the popular Hangout and newly improved Gulf Place. Public beach access is a short, easy walk - about a block away across the street (light and crosswalk). Restaurants, ice cream shops, mini golf, shopping, and other Gulf Shores attractions located just blocks away. Gulf State Park Fishing Pier 1 mile away. The cottage is 2 bedroom/1 bath and accommodates 4 guests. Fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor grill. Washer and Dryer. 2 smart tv's. There is a beach market across the street for last minute items. Pets considered (up to 2 dogs) with owner's prior approval and fee.

Place was OK, Host was not
When we entered the house there was an awful grinding noise coming from the fridge. Since we checked in late, we messaged the host and asked them to look into it the next day. Later the next day, we received a message from the host that said they can't fix it during our stay, but the fridge is cooling. Now you should know that the fridge is adjacent to the main living area so this noise made using the living area unbearable. I messaged the host that the news was disappointing & asked if we could get some sort of compensation for the noise and inconvenience. We NEVER heard back from the host again on this topic - even after two more attempts. With poor communications skills like this, the host does NOT deserve Premier Host status..

Perfect space close to the beach
I loved the location and the house. Living room and kitchen is a little small, but perfect for a small amount of people. Only complaint is that the tv in the living room kept malfunctioning, and I had to restart it several times.

Overall property was very nice for the price. The dining area is too small for 4 people. Short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to Gulf Shores. Only negative, trash trucks were noisy bright and early every morning.

Very Disappointing
Based on the listing and reviews we thought the cottage would be a great place to stay for the last 2 nights of our trip. We were under the impression the area was nice. The cottage wasn’t very clean, the yard was overgrown. and it was directly across the street from trash dumpsters. We weren’t able to sit outside and enjoy ourselves like we normally would. We altered our plans to only stay at the cottage to sleep. We made the best of it, but we’re very disappointed.

This beach house is perfect for a family getaway. It was very clean and in walking distance to the beach. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. There's even a store right on the corner if you need to pick up something.

Great private cozy cottage

Perfect size and location
The small house was exactly what my husband and I needed. We were in Golf shores to watch our daughter play in a tournament and want something bigger than a hotel room and a kitchen, but nothing too big as we wouldn’t be spending much time there. Location was perfect - beach, restaurants, shops and attractions were walkable!

House nightmare
Property seemed okay upon arrival, but during our stay furnace went out 3 times (and it was cold) and took 5 maintenance visits to fix. Very inconvenient when we had to remove dogs from premises each time. Then the electricity went out several times and we felt unsafe. Owner was able to relocate us to another property which actually was nicer than original house but having to move near the end of our stay was inconvenient. No reimbursement of rental was offered.

Great Place in Gulf Shores
We would definitely stay here again. The home is exactly as pictured. Extremely clean with comfortable beds and furniture. Two decks for sitting and relaxing - loved the back deck and so did our dog. The best feature is the location - close to the beach, grocery store and a plethora of restaurants. Don’t be afraid to book this one - you won’t be disappointed.

Very nice. Small but was perfect for our short stay.
Very clean. Great location. Perfect for a short stay. It is a Very small but cute cottage. Do not walk in the yard because of sand stickers. It was perfect for a quick weekend get away. I do wish we could have booked through the actual owner, because through VRBO it was double the price.
