"Tiger Tops Elephant Camp was amazing. Walking through the jungle with the elephants and getting up. Lose and personal with them was an unforgettable experience. We saw rhinoceros on the Jeep Safari. I would highly recommend this experience."

"We stayed for 2 nights and welcomed 2020 here and we couldn't have picked a better place to be. Ram was our guide and he also ensured that our stay was comfortable and took care of any requests we had. We were the only guests for the two nights as it is low season during winter time but we cannot recommend a better time to visit Nepal in general. "Property looks very good. Very basic room and it was suffocating as the room had some smell. Maybe it was a very basic room as we saw there were other good rooms too. Ours was a very bad one and was a very bad experience."

"The staff are very polite and accommodating. My safari adventures were well run and the naturalist (Nabin) was so knowledgeable that I even got to spot a tiger! Not many people get to see one. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in one of the well appointed safari tents overlooking the national park. We could even hear a rhino at night munching away under our tent! "

At first view, many things work well - e.g. staff are kind, facilities are nice and clean as well as location near the river with jungle on the other side is beautiful. "Overpriced, overhyped, and overwhelmingly disappointing I genuinely don’t understand the rave reviews about Sapana Village Lodge, my stay felt more like a lesson in what not to do in hospitality. Sure, the view is lovely… but you can’t sleep on a view. The room? Dim, musty, and crawling with ants quite the “rustic charm,” if that’s what you’re into. The bathroom felt like it hadn’t seen a proper cleaning in ages, and the linens had a damp, moldy smell that made me question everything. The service was painfully slow and disorganized. I waited over an hour for dinner and when it finally arrived, it was bland, lukewarm, and overpriced. The staff were friendly, but the whole place felt like it was running on guesswork and good intentions rather than actual management. What really pushed me over the edge was the outrageous pricing for activities. They charge a premium for basic excursions like canoe rides and jungle walks and we later found the exact same experiences literally down the road for half the price, with better guides and no pushy upselling. It felt like they were taking advantage of guests who didn’t know any better. If you’re into paying luxury prices for a mediocre lodge and a side of frustration, then maybe this is the place for you. "

Wonderful stay, great safari lodge option

"Loved my stay here. Very nicely run lodge— a great choice in the area that provides an upscale experience for a very reasonable amount. The staff were all lovely, the owner ever-present, making sure you’re having a great stay. But the stand-outs were the safari guides, who were so friendly and knowledgeable and worked very hard to ensure a great experience in the park. Saw tons of animals—so many rhinos!—but sadly no tigers, though the guides were super committed to trying to spot."

"Our stay at Riverbank Jungle Resort was truly unforgettable! The food was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of flavors that kept us excited for every meal. The jungle activities, including safaris and nature walks, were thrilling and well-organized, giving us a chance to witness incredible wildlife up close. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after an adventurous day. "From the moment we entered the downstairs reception area we were transported to a place of calm and friendly serenity. The rooms were clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed including a small mini bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel is excellent in both location and hospitality. The staff are all incredible—friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
