"Great place. I loved the shared space with the honesty store. The hotel was clean with a good breakfast spread. There are no nearby stores or restaurants as the closest town is empty due to last year's volcano eruption. The restaurant was delicious with choices of meat, chicken or fish. A great bar! A shout out to the waiter. He was very helpful and friendly. 4 minutes drive to the Blue Lagoon "

OK it's a little pricey but well worth the experience overall. The only negative for me was from the Lava restaurant where I had probably the worst steak ever especially given it's hefty price tag."

"The hotel had great staff who made the hotel a great place to stay. I didnt use the many facilities they offer but nevertheless enjoyed it. The hotel is spotless and the room in which i stayed was very comfortable. The hotel doesnt have a courtesy bus to the airport but there are alternatives to the taxis if you look hard enough. I would certainly recommend this hotel from my experience of staying there."

"Great easy parking, clean room. But I got locked in bathroom for about 25 min. I was not able to open the glas door from inside. My husband went downstairs to get help but nobody came. We got a screwdriver to try to open the door. Did not work. After about 25 min with a lot of moving and pushing the lock finally moved. Bad experience. "
