"Our family really enjoyed our stay at this little house on the water. The kayak was a hit with our little ones who also loved to watch the crabs scurry. Swansboro, with cute restaurants and shops, is only minutes down the main road on which the house sits. Would definitely recommend! "

"Just love the sweet village of Swansboro, the Sunday evening concert was a great ending to nice stay, the State Rooms have best seats for Bandstand!On another note, the hair dryer does not work. I was disappointed that no TV OTHER THAN STREAMING WAS AVAILABLE. I did not bring passwords etc. Basic TV is minimal in my opinion. A special alert of this prior to departing for trip would have made me bring passwords."

"I thought there were 2 bathrooms, turns out there is only 1 full bathroom. That was my fault for not looking more closely at the description. It is not easy to have 5 or 6 people use one shower. you can only go in one person at a time, it's a small bathroom. Road noise was loud, this property sits right on the main highway in Swansboro"

"It was really quiet and comforting. Liked having a pub to walk right down the stairs to. Only thing that we didn’t like was parking availability. My husband has a hard time walking. There’s no handicap parking available for guests. But we liked so well it would not cause us to stay somewhere else when we come to town again. "
