Surrounded by country fields, and nestled in a valley along the Bow Creek, you'll find the Peaceful Country Village of Bow Valley. North Crick Lodge has been a part of Bow Valley for over 100 years. We are located just 1 mile South of the Hwy 12 Outlaw Trail Byway and 1 mile East of Hwy 57. Nearby Attractions include Noecker's Acres, Nissen Winery, Sportsmen's Resort, Lakeview Golf Course, WJ Ranch, Yankton SD, Gavins Point Dam/Lewis & Clark Lake, Ponca (east) & Niobrara (west) State Parks.
As a Guest of the North Crick Lodge, you'll find a full service Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, dinnerware, bakeware, utensils, etc. provided. We have a Full Bathroom with heated floors and separate water closet. We offer comfortable bedding, with a 2nd television in the Master Bedroom. All linens are provided. The Livingroom has a Smart TV and a Bluetooth Sound System.
There will be a Welcome Packet available upon arrival, with instructions, area information on dining, services, local attractions, etc.
While you're in Bow Valley, take in the fresh air and country feel. Watch the Gorgeous Sunrise sipping coffee in the morning, go for a walk to the creek to drop rocks, enjoy the view atop the Heavenly Heights, Glory in the Majestic Architecture of our Beautiful Church, take a time out to play at our village playground, stop down for lunch or a snack and say hello to the neighbors at BV Buds, or --stay in and have yourself a home cooked meal or an outdoor barbeque on the grill (charcoal & lighter fluid are not furnished), end the day with the tranquil beauty of a Nebraska Sunset, and spend some nighttime watching fireflies and stargazing.
**There are quite a few transition steps within the front and back yards of this property. Outside of the backyard gate, we welcome our Guests to visit the Animals, as well as the Gardens for Fresh Produce when in Season. There are caution signs posted, so please be mindful, and careful.

* NO Pets/No Exceptions. This home is also used for Wellness Groups/Visits in where Patients/Visitors with Autoimmune/Hypersensitivities will be Occupants of the home. For their health and safety, as well as the health and safety of Housekeepers and other Guests with Allergies to Pets/Pet Dander, etc. There can be no exceptions.
As Guests, You will have the Entire Home, Front Yard, and Fenced-in Backyard to Yourselves with the exception of Hosts providing watering when the weather requires it, which will be done when it will not distrub our Guests. There is Off-street paking for 2 regular size vehicles and an extended driveway for larger vehicles with trailers/boats, etc. There are Nigerian Goats, Ducks, and Laying Hens behind the fenced-in backyard, and on the far west end of the property. Guests are welcome to visit. Hosts will provide feeding/watering once daily; and will supply treats for Guests who would like to feed the animals.
We do have outdoor farm cats; and they WILL come and check you out (oh, the curious cat). If you'd prefer they leave you alone, please just give them a little shoo, and they'll usually get the hint.
Winnie, Bo and Ranger are the Family Dogs. You may see them running around outside occasionally, but they are well-behaved and well-monitored, and they will not bother you. Your back yard is fenced in.
We offer Self Check-In unless otherwise requested. We love to meet our Guests, but ask that you take the lead as far as Host/Guest Interaction. We are available 24hrs/day for any questions/issues/concerns, or just to visit:) We also try to be flexible with check-in/check-out times when our calendar allows it; we just ask that Guests request ahead of time so we can make necessary arrangements, if possible.
Bow Valley is a rural village, therefore amenities are limited. There is currently NO FUEL AVAILABLE. There are service stations in Hartington, NE; 8 miles south of us. The city of Yankton, South Dakota is about 20 minutes northwest, the city of Vermillion, South Dakota about 25 minutes northeast, and Ponca State Park about 40 minutes east.
