"Traditional style hotel, friendly, courteous staff throughout the stay, room was small but had everything we needed for our one night stay, clean bathroom, although the showers water pressure wasn't the best. Excellent evening meal and breakfast, located just off the main road, very good for exploring the rest of the village."
"Great value for money in a lovely location. Service was excellent throughout our stay. Food was of a very high quality. The accommodation seemed new and nicely designed. All in all a great place to stay!"
"Breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit and lovely cooked breakfast. Staff were lovely. On the downside - the mattress was so soft it sunk straight down to the divan below; also the bathroom needed a dust and clean (skirtings/doors etc)"
"Hotel is in amazing Peak District area. Located above the pub but we wasnt bothered about any noice. Room and amenities are a bit dated but its comfy and pleasant. Its great for the location."
"Hotel was excellent - it was great to be able to use the spa facilities (we used the hot tub and sauna but didn't use the pool) as when we were there the weather was rubbish. Dinner and breakfast were great too, as were the staff."
"A very nice stay with friendly , welcoming and efficient staff, great evening meal. Pleased with the room, and a 7 minute walk to the botanical gardens and other park. Nice residential area, but plenty of amenities and restaurants nearby. Would like to go back sometime"

"I recently stayed at Hathersage, Hope Valley, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The accommodation is beautifully and have spacious rooms that blend historic charm with modern comfort. All rooms were spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the rainfall shower was a real treat after long walks. Fully equipped kitchen with some nice welcoming treats. The location is ideal—just in the middle of the Hope Valley and plenty of other hiking routes. There are couple of nice dining places in 5 min walk. This is the best place to stay if you want to cover Mam Tor or Blue John Cavern. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Peak District for walking, photography, or just a relaxing countryside break."

"Great traditional country pub. Really friendly and helpful staff. Room comfortable. Only issue a bit of noise from the kitchen fans in the evening. Good food options "

"Bradwell is a great location for visiting the Peak District: it's close to many of the popular hikes, but it doesn't feel overrun with other tourists. The house was very well set up and comfortable. "
