"I stayed at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel (Bergen) (standard room) for one night in October 2024. The hotel is situated along the Bryggen harbour with a lovely view. The room was clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is perfect - it is located at the last stop (Bryggen stop) of the FlyBussen airport bus route from Bergen Airport, and is also a 5-minute walk away from the Zachiarasbryggen wharf (which is the meeting place for some of the fjord cruises). "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! Plenty of options and all tasty! The building was older (especially upper floors) but our room was roomy and clean. Had a mini fridge and comfortable beds. We had a sloped ceiling in our room but it was wonderful to hear the rain on the ceiling window at night - very cozy. The hotel is a convenient quick walk to restaurants, shopping, and ferries. Lobby was nice with cool bar and restaurant. "

"The dining rom is one of the most stunning rooms I have seen in my life! Reception and everywhere else is just average compared to the dining room. Great location, central to everything and they serve a really nice buffet breakfast. The service is ok, but we tried calling the front desk multiple times but no one answers. There is no concierge which seemed odd for a higher end property."

"Room was so small, no room for suitcase. Luckily it fit under the bed. Two pillows only. No washcloths provided, and only one bath towel and one handtowel. Tiny bathroom sink, so water spilled onto floor every time i used. Good breakfast, but caused extreme GI issues. Second day, i avoided the salmon and pate that wasnt kept cool. No problems then. Great location, helpful staff"

"The standard twin room was bigger than expected. There is space to open 2 large luggages but we only kept 1 opened. The bathroom is also spacious with wet/dry divider. The walls are very thin, we could hear the crazy neighbours shouting and doors slamming through out the night. "
