"They gave me a free upgrade to a room with a view of the Rhine. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had at any European hotel. They had a designated machine only for hot chocolate, and the cocoa was so good I drank three cups. There was also a smoothie maker. Also, just a 10-minute walk to the Drachenfelsbahn."

"Stayed for the Euros as close to Cologne. Very simple hotel but everything works. WiFi was ok. They did forget to clean our room but the staff were good and gave us a free breakfast. Would recommend only staying for a night or 2. "

Two small inconveniences: had to beg the reception desk for a drinking glass (none in the room), and absolutely no way to get any receipt (proof of stay) when paid through Expedia."
