"Fantastic views of the Smith River from the hot tub and dining room and which was just a staircase away! Liked having an EV charger and a clean house with a kitchen that had plenty of utensils, plates and cookware (we would have loved a kettle!). Please fix the fishing rod situation as only 1 was in working order out of the 6. It was also extremely cold in the house when we arrived and the water had not been turned on."

"This is a good place for someone who enjoys camping and being with nature. The people are nice. The scenery and a sky full of stars at night made the trek worth it. My young daughter was amused by the animals and was thrilled getting eggs from the hens."

"This was our second stay at this location. Our daughter got engaged the first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This time we met a cousin and his wife for a week of relax and recharge. The location is fantastic. The house is comfortable. We did have a couple intrusive neighbors this time but not too over the top. A couple items we noticed: very poorr lighting throughout the house, the master bed needs flipped At the very least, and the hedges in front have grown so much...

"This little cabin was everything we hoped for on our vacation from home in the Eastern Sierras to the Northern Coast! The home is exactly as pictured, even more updated perhaps. Just the right amount of space for 2 people and our 2 medium-large sized dogs. A short walk down the block provides breath taking views of the rocky coastline and stunning evening sunsets. "The hotel was a great deal for the price. The only issue is that we were on the 2nd floor and the sounds from up above were terribly loud. The hotel needs to put in some soundproofing or replace the floors to prevent this. It was not that the people above were loud; the toilet being flushed was very loud and the footsteps were normal footsteps. Aside from that, great place to stay!"

Good place to stay

"Great older place but newish owners need to put back into it a bit. A few broken knobs and mattress on one of the three beds was past its prime and not comfortable. Overall it was great, vintage but good place to stay. The Curly redwood was nice and the story. Very close to all redwood things to hike and see!"
