Our stay at La Vela Saigon was a slight disappointment. For a 5-star hotel, the service was not as good as expected. We were not greeted by any of the staff as we walked in to check-in. All 5 front desk clerk were busy talking amongst themselves and did not acknowledged us when we approached them. And after checking in, nobody showed us how to navigate through the hotel nor did they show us how to use the amenities in the hotel. Staff and service was subpar and missing friendliness & positive interactions with their customers. The rooms were cleaned and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities.

The hotel is very nice, located near the airport and many nice city attractions. Staff are so very polite and helpful. We were easily able to book a city tour on Expedia with pickup and drop off to the hotel. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing hotel with fabulous staff and superb dining options. I loved my time there. If I was being the tiniest bit picky I would say that the gym definitely needs the air con on and the breakfast dining area also could do with being a few degrees cooler. However overall it was amazing especially the rooftop pool area which is spectacular. We enjoyed it much more than Marina Bay Sands.Absolutely 10/10 for the amazing staff!
