Midpark has a stylish open plan interior – with a small, yet well-equipped kitchen to meet all culinary needs and a comfy sofa facing out the large glass doors, providing you with a tranquil view of trees and a grassy meadow.
Outside on the decking, you will find the outdoor bar, Ooni pizza oven and a top of the range Kamado charcoal BBQ. Close by is the woodfired hot tub which can be used year-round with an unlimited source of wood.
Mayen Estate, where Midpark is situated offers a large range of walks around its 700 acres, you can also explore its historic rock gardens, woodlands, many ponds and arboretum. Also on the estate is a beautiful permaculture walled garden, which you can visit during opening hours.
There is much to see and do in the beautiful county of Morayshire:
Midpark just so happens to be perfectly situated at the heart of the Scottish castle trail, so there is certainly no shortage of ancient castles to visit as well as historic fishing villages, country houses and many different gardens.
For those who enjoy a long walk, there are countless coastal routes and hills to climb – a particular favourite for us would have to be Knock Hill, especially on a sunny day for the spectacular views.
If you are the adventurous sort, Glenlivet bike trails are a worthwhile visit with the routes ranging from blue to black. These are free to use, just pay for parking – if you cannot bring your own bike there are bikes available for hire at the centre.
