Barbara, front desk representative, was great — courteous, friendly, and helpful! Condition of room was excellent. Very nice breakfast. Overall friendly staff. Good location for walking to sights and restaurants.

The room was two story with narrow steps, 17 I think. The switches were very, very hard to make work. Otherwise it was an elegant room, well kept. What really, really upset us is that they only provided room coffee on day one, then they wanted to charge us for the extra days. This was a very expensive hotel by our standards. They should not be so cheap. When we complained, the lady was less than gracious. Also, they sent the maid each day with two bottles of of "free" water instead of leaving it in the room. We had left a good tip each day, and felt pressured to give another tip.

Overall was okay but it seem like a 4 star. Breakfast was below standard. Noisy around the area. Staff was friendly.

The place was great, i would recommend. The one thing i did not like was the face basin in the bathroom, the pipe should be able to move, it was placed in the middle of the sink. I could not wash my face properly.
