"Such a beautiful hotel and staff were always approachable and pleasant. Hotel very clean and tidy. Loved the board with all the activities and information about the island at reception, great idea. I found the restaurant very expensive, also we were unable to get 2 different cocktails of the menu during the 3 days we were there, because they had no pineapple juice and also no rosé wine which was disappointing. "

"My husband and I had stayed here in October 2024. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We did not have a great room, as it was facing the car park and it was the only available room on Expedia. "Hi, I enjoyed my stay overall. The room was clean. The breakfast was what needed and the staff were friendly and nice to my dog. The one thing I would have liked is better communication as to the opening times of the bar. A big thing is made of the bar on Expedia and the hotels website. Realistically if you’re visiting Skye there is a good chance someone is driving. The main bar is closed for the season (opening the 26th March) and the snug bar closes at 9 pm. "The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the pillows were as well. The bathroom was exactly as pictured with the rainfall showerhead and the big bath tub. It was sooo nice to have a bath after hiking all day. Service was prefect, friendly and attentive. We had dinner at the sister restaurant just down the road, i had the chicken he had the lamb and both were so tender... wonderful meals. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back."

"This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...
