It was a clean room with comfortable bed. Did not like that it was on a third floor walk up with a small, poorly maintained, shared bathroom.
Really enjoyed my stay. Room spacious and clean, fresh bedsheets and towels. There are several bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens per building, so does feel a bit like student accommodation (which I liked). The Spanish lady is amazing and needs a promotion! NOTE that I didn't receive a code from Expedia before arrival so said Spanish lady let me in. Internet password is on router in hallway.
When you are told you are in room 3 and have to search the house for a room 3. How difficult is it to put a number on a door! Had to try out door code to find the magic door that opened.
Very noisy house with laminate flooring everywhere. Shared bathroom in need of refurb.
However room was comfortable and adequate.
Our stay was ok, good value for the amount paid. Only thing unexpected was that some rooms in the house are rented and people live there 24/7 therefore we saw a lot of personal items spread all along the hallways, stairway needed some vacuuming. Wifi and TV available in the room. Friendly host.
The property has very limited parking nearby and is next to a busy, loud road. The property also has very creaky floorboards and is poorly sound insulated inside meaning you can hear every press of the microwave downstairs in the middle of the night!
I booked 2 nights and left after 1 choosing to pay to stay somewhere else!
Bit of a strange set up , the house keeper was very friendly. the stairs needed hoovering and there was laundry drying . We were up very early and had to be mindful of others as the laminate flooring was very creaky. Had to park our car in the church car park which was just below the place and not outside the property. Very central and reasonably priced.
After reading some reviews wasn’t sure what to expect but we were really happy with room. Large room - very clean. Was a very hot day but windows had been left open and room Was cool on arrival. Had a really comfy stay. Special mention to the housekeeper who was very helpful and friendly.
Only small negatives - extra pillows in room would be good. My hubby uses 2 but only 1 available. Plus cups and kettle are available but no tea and coffee provided.
I read some worrying stuff about the room, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the people who left those reviews were most likely just being silly.
The place is very well located, close to Tesco, McDonald's, Costa Cafe and a bus stop to the city centre. The room was quite nice and had a beautiful view and breeze coming in, the kitchen was awesome with lots of appliances and we could even do our laundry.
Would definitely recommend and go back, the price was fair and we had a lovely stay.
I arrived to the location late at night and only then was told I would be staying somewhere else. The customer service from the manager was despicable and rude. When I arrived at the new location it was 11pm at night and my room was still not ready. I had to wait to be placed in one room only to be moved again the next day. I stayed in Drumdevan Country House which was actually quite nicely put together, just a shame the manager was horrible and the wifi barely existed.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Bedroom: Upon arrival in your room on January 1st, windows completely open, heaters turned off, room with a lot of dust, dirty coffee spoons with expired milk. Television with remote control without batteries, and with programs that you couldn't watch(most of them). Be careful when me and my girlfriend left the room, we started scratching the whole body so as to test and find out that it was the bed mites. Really bad experience.
Arrived and followed the self book in sequence called to ask for the 2 rooms I had paid for and told me I had only one room booked so after a half an hour phone call with the person who I was on the phone with he was rather rude to begin with not willing to help at all saying it wasn’t his problem but after a small heated debate he decides to give me another room to then get told that the door doesn’t lock cause there was no key room was clean bed was comfortable worth the price only other complaint is if your looking for a quiet night you won’t get it there as other people staying in flat/appartment came in early screaming and shouting banging about then they must of got up early and again started banging about slamming doors wouldn’t stay again buy cheap get cheap
