"I stayed here as I was running a training session the next day at this venue. The hotel is quite old and the decor reflects this. I was in room 302 which was pleasant. Ensuite was good, large shower. Room had a desk, as well as a occasional table with 2 chairs. TV in room was okay but channel guide button on control did not work."

"The hotel was rather quiet and under-used but as there was substantial renovation going on with the gym and spa/pool facilities this was understandable. The hotel staff were among the friendliest I've come across in a long time, nothing was too much for them in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. My wife and I were seriously impressed."

"Really friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The bar area was very relaxing. Great big comfy sofas. The room was pleasant. Tiny shower room. Comfortable bed. The pillows were really firm and i couldnt work out which were meant to be the soft option. The decor was ok in the room. Could do with a freshen up. It was clean. The pool was really nice. "As always, the staff and hotel were brilliant. My only issue is the the rooms heating was not working. A fan heater was provided but too noisy to have on if you wanted to fo to sleep."
