"The cottage was lovely and had it's own parking space which was handy. It was a bit chilly when we got there but we just upped the thermostat and it was very warm within about 10 minutes. Great location in easy walking distance to Aldi and an M&S food and restaurants. The owner left some basic food including some UHT milk. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the shower - which seemed to go from boiling hot to freezing cold and back again, so I had a bath instead!"

"This house is so beautifully appointed and well designed! We stayed with a group of 7 women for a restful vacation and this house suited us so perfectly! The kitchen was well equipped for serving dinner outside in the garden. We enjoyed the surrounding countryside and took day trips to Southwold and Framlingham. Friday Street Market was wonderful for local and fresh food. Would definitely recommend this house to friends and would love to return someday! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!"

Hint, use the B & Q parking to load and unload. The small kitchen could have been stocked with better glassware. The bins are located in the driveway around the corner. Good bed and linens. On a busy street, but quiet at night."

"The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. "This property was basic but perfectly comfortable and in a stunning location! The lane to the property was very over geown and unfortunately my husbands car (which has low clearance) was unable to get down it. But the owner soon dorted an alternative for us. The neighbours ford focus had bo problems so i would say this wont be a problem for most! Access down to views over the estuary and walks from the house was great. No wifi but perfectly good signal for 4g - or a good excuse to go off grid....

"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends.
