"Riviera Beach House is a boutique hotel right in the Funk Zone. The rooms are small, but beds are comfortable and they have made great use of the limited space. We paid for a king room with a patio and when we got to the hotel, all of the patio rooms were under unexpected construction. Management went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the options they presented and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back!"

"The hotel tries hard to be appealing. Clean rooms with fine bedding, good food in the restaurant, quaint bar, helpful employees. But it's an old building that was formerly a different hotel brand, and it doesn't feel luxurious in any way. My first impression was a bit cringe, but it turned out to be a fine experience as an inexpensive place to stay on my business trip."

"Liked the pool area because it was secluded from street. Very lovely. Easy access too. Lovely breakfast and cute eating area. Only thing is too much light coming in curtains at night. Maybe need curtains that block light. Made it hard to sleep."

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beachfront hotel. Our oceanview room had a terrific balcony with a full water view. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the room was huge! We were there on a Sunday night and Monday so the hotel was not very crowded. The staff was lovely. "Myself and two roommates from UCSB 20yrs ago were having amemorial trip for a 4th roommate who passed away recently. We were just looking for something downtown close to everything where each of the 3 of us could have our own bed. This property fit the bill perfectly.
