Rustic motel just outside of West Yellowstone. Room was clean & roomy. There is no TV reception, you have to stream from your mobile device. Breakfast buffet was affordable but kitchen was short so pickings were slim to none. Also, I paid ahead thru Expedia & the motel sent me an email invoice that I owed an additional amt.stafthereforeyoumonb
Don’t do it! Don’t stay here unless you have really good ear plugs! The walls are paper thin! We stayed two nights out of the three we paid for. First night we heard the guy next to us coughing all night long. And the walls were so thin we could hear him sigh in relief when his coughing fits would stop for a bit. We could hear word word what the people in the next room were saying. The next night they moved us to an end room in which again, we could hear word for word the husband and wife conversations, the sports game he was watching before dinner, that he had a nightmare mid night and ended up watching Fort Worth news at 3am.
This is all besides the point that the rooms are small and cramped. There is one uncomfortable chair and the bed needs a step stool to get into. I’ve never considered myself height challenged at 5’7”. The first room (208), the toilet was so close to the wall your knees bumped into it. The second room (211) the bathroom had more area. Both bedrooms were cramped, no area to relax.
The last night? We took the loss and left a day early and went to another lodge.
This room was very clean, but tiny. I thought we were supposed to have a queen size bed, but it was full. My husband and I were very cramped. The bathroom was clean, but also extremely tiny. We were only there one night as we passed through. It would be difficult if you were to spend any time in the room besides sleeping.
The room was spacious and clean, had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet, for an additional charge, was delicious and convenient.
Looks to be newly remodeled, very clean, great set up of the room. It was decorated very nicely and had comfortable beds. We stayed for 3 nights and the only thing was that we could hear the people in the room next door. But they quieted down quite early. So I would definitely recommend staying there.
The room was very nice in size and clean. Enjoyed the amenities. The outside looks a little room down, but don’t let that fool you as it was quite nice.
Really and excellent job restoring this log cabin style hotel. Still with the squeaky original wooden floors adds character (although I don't know how loud it would have been for the first floor as we were on the second floor). Comfy bed, great shower and very friendly management. A grocery store is next door and so is a gas station.
