It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden. "This is probably our 9th or 10th stay here, it is such a home away from home in a lovely village, but also with great access via the bus to Oxford. We even went to London for the day this time which was very simple. "

"I would say overall that the property is okay or average. For two adults, both of whom are between six feet tall and over, it felt a little cramped. The cleanliness is average due to the fact that some of dressers and tables were a little rickety or had stains on them when we came in. No bugs of any kind, however, which was great. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils for cooking, however there was no cookie or baking sheet so you'd have to use tin foil or buy a cooking pan....

"The apartment was beautiful, warm, comfortable and very well situated, however the washing machine didn't work - we were there for 13 days over Christmas - and the writing/figures on the oven and microwave were all but erased making their use a guessing game. There wasn't a complete set of cutlery, only one tea towel, no oven gloves and although we did virtually no cooking in the apartment we noticed a lack of utensils necessary for those who would cook."

"Clean, modern, well equipped and comfy, good location not far from park and ride. Only very very slight glitch was that it isn't immediately obvious where the keypad is for the front door; an older one has been covered up and I didn't notice the buttons on the handle itself until I'd tried the old one - but I got there. "The property is well situated - Plantation Road is a lovely little street with one of the best pubs in Oxford as one of its jewels. This property would be perfect for those wanting to explore Oxford proper. Further, because the two bedrooms are subterranean they would remain cool in the summers in our opinion. "

"This was the perfect size and location for our short stay in Oxford. There is a bus stop directly outside of your door and it takes you right into town. Also super easy to catch a bus right back to where you’re staying! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. It also sits in a nice walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend! "

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Ostlers. Excellent location very close to the centre of Burford. All of the check in admin was very smooth, and had super communication from the host Steve. Some great local recommendations also. The house was spacious yet cosy, and very well appointed with kitchen utensils/ board games etc. Would highly recommend staying, and could have easily stayed longer and explored the local area more. It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. We mostly stayed cocooned in the cottage as it's so warm and snug. The cottage is situated in a working horse riding stable so during the day people are coming and going in front of the cottage as they arrive and depart, so...

"Great hotel for any stay in Oxford. We came for a long weekend over and just wanted to explore the city centre area and relax. We especially enjoyed breakfast, wish there was a vegetarian meat option but wasn’t a huge deal as there’s so many other options. The staff/ service was really good. We had treatments and used the pool & jacuzzi which were great and easy to use - just wish that the changing areas/ showers were cleaner. We had dinner one day at Deacons and the staff were great but the food was expensive for what it was, I’d pass and go to the city centre instead next time. It was easy to take the buses into the city or just walk, took around 15 minutes and it would be lovely in the summer. Overall, would definitely visit again and recommend to others! Thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well. "
