"This was a trip down memory lane for us as we spent 10 years on Lake Martin prior to making the move to full time lake life on Smith Lake in 2019. We brought the family back down and did all the things we remembered: goat island, peanut point, Ice cream at Windcreek and most importantly ate Chuck’s pizza for lunch 2 days straight! "Met up with some college friends here for a reunion weekend! We drove into the Auburn game Saturday morning. It was very affordable pricing compared to other places located in Auburn. Friday night we went to Niffer’s about 20 minutes from the house. All in all, a lovely place to stay. It was clean, quiet and all of us felt safe. "

"oct 26, '24. three nights. we have vrbo'd all around lake martin. point windy cottage is located on the north side of lake. we found this location to be the most convenient on the lake- scenic drives, restaurants, dadeville. everything was as described. whole rental process was smooth and owners are super. this cottage was a great place for us. porch has great view of its lake location. fall colors were at peak. very enjoyable. "

"We had the absolute best day at this cute little Lake Martin house. The beds were extremely comfortable, It was very well stocked, And it had absolutely everything we needed. The owner communication was outstanding , And she made everything so easy for us. Our children really enjoyed Fishing every morning, Location on the lake was perfect . We would definitely stay here again and Look forward to going back"

"The property was unique with the double dog trot design. We each had our own room and bathroom. Wish we would have had to go to lake Martin. About 45 minute drive to Auburn. The only thing was we arrived after dark and if any porch lights would have been on, it would have helped. Otherwise wonderful time."
