"Great location and well priced 👍 right in the middle of all the action"

"I knew it was going to be small, with no ensuite, possible loud street noise, and a vicious set of stairs, so I came mentally prepared. And while these things were true, it really wasn't bad. (Though if you havve *any* mobility issues, pick some where else.) The street noise wasn't that bad, I even kept my window open all night (which did let in some smoke, as I was above the doorway). The staff was just so sweet, at check-in, breakfast (even though I slept in terribly), and at checkout....

"Hotel location is good. Shower room had damp on the walls. Previous guests had written on the walls in the bathroom. This has never been removed. One message read 'Denzo 2014'! Hotel is noisy. Condition of the hotel seems as if it hadn't been decorated for many years. We were charged before arrival. We expected to pay on arrival. No hot water in wash basin. Condition of carpet on stairs is threadbare. Bed was unstable."

"This a great place to stay outside the hustle of the bigger centre area. It's quieter and everything is close enough to walk There's lots of quaint cafés on the corner, and plenty of options to choose from to eat. The front desk staff is kind and knowledgeable. The rooms are a bit small but met our needs. "

"It was fantastic to have a home environment to come back to at the end of the day, rather than a cramped hotel room. It was difficult carrying a suitcase up the steep stairs, but i was expecting it from prior reviews. I do wish the windows opened more as it got a bit warm at times. There was a grocery store close and a market outside one day. Great location!"
