The home To Stay In the Jordaan - Centre Amsterdam
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (168)
"Rosie's Place was the perfect spot for us and we wished that we had more than 3 days. It is in a very safe, walkable area with many restaurants and also close to the tram. Astrid could not have been a better host and was always available for questions or recommendations. Highly recommend this apartment when in Amsterdam!!"

"This a great place to stay outside the hustle of the bigger centre area. It's quieter and everything is close enough to walk There's lots of quaint cafés on the corner, and plenty of options to choose from to eat. The front desk staff is kind and knowledgeable. The rooms are a bit small but met our needs. "

Short Stay Group Jordaan Westerstraat Serviced Apartments
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"It was fantastic to have a home environment to come back to at the end of the day, rather than a cramped hotel room. It was difficult carrying a suitcase up the steep stairs, but i was expecting it from prior reviews. I do wish the windows opened more as it got a bit warm at times. There was a grocery store close and a market outside one day. Great location!"

BackStage Hotel Amsterdam
2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (584)

(Though if you havve *any* mobility issues, pick some where else.) The street noise wasn't that bad, I even kept my window open all night (which did let in some smoke, as I was above the doorway). The staff was just so sweet, at check-in, breakfast (even though I slept in terribly), and at checkout....

Hotel Fossa
3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (570)
"This is a small, quiet and comfortable hotel. The staff, if you can find them, are friendly. The location is very good, it’s a lovely neighbourhood with some good restaurants. My concerns are that it isn’t easy to find, and there is no obvious signage. The reception is only part-time, and I was really taken aback that it wasn’t open for a 9am checkout on my last day, which was so inconvenient. I’ve been told that British people have a reputation in the hotel trade for complaining, but I rarely...
