"This is a small hotel. We are non smoker but due to this hotel has the anime love live theme, my son wanted to stay here and there is no more room so we took the smoking room. "I originally planned to say at a ryokan, but since I'm traveling during busy season they traditional ones were all sold out. I stumbled upon this property, and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend this property to everyone staying in Hakone. It's central, but more than that it's gorgeous. The garden itself is beautiful with cherry blossoms (during season) and koi fish. "Beautiful property right on the lake. We booked a lake view room which I recommend. We were on the top floor and loved our view but I’m sure all rooms are similar. The area has restaurants near by, the pier is 5 mins away where you can hop on the boats to tour the lake and also go up on the cable car. There is also the largest souvenir store right next door.
