The owner of this property was able to anticipate our every need and even provided extra personal items that would have served us well in the case we would had forgotten them. We are used to staying at high end hotels, and this unit was a breath of fresh air. It opened our eyes to more possibilities.

Perfect Spot!
The spot was perfect for us! It was a great size and so close to main street - which is where we spent most of our time. We were able to go back and forth for any reason with ease, and even beat crowds in the mornings. The place was very clean and very private! We especially loved the telescope! Highly recommend this stay!

We experienced amazing hospitality! The place was clean and very cozy-plenty of blankets and pillows, games to play, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Even a telescope- kids were stoked about that! The coffee station was fully stocked; husband was very happy about that one. They even had bicycles available for cruising around town. Jason thought of everything!

Perfect place to stay
My mom and I stayed here for the weekend and it was great! I felt like we were the perfect distance from the busy area of Julian but close enough to enjoy all of it. Having a brewery right across the street was a fun option as well. We had everything we needed during our stay and Jason made our checkin/out flexible and easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little spot
Minutes from main street, easy drive to Wynola. Property stayed cool and was well insulated and air conditioning was available for the hotter months but we didn't need it. Nice little field behind the place for the doggos and a brewery across the street.

Everything was great and cozy. The only issue was where we had to park, around the back area. We arrived towards the night time, and due to it being pitch black, need to be careful not driving in a bug dip, which needs to be covered. Luckily we saw it in time to use other pathway.

We enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the attentiveness of our host. It was a nice place with a beautiful view. My son absolutely loved playing records on the phonograph! We would definitely stay there again.

Nice Rustic Stay
Although slightly out of the center of town, it is easily walkable, and it is very close to a brewery.

Great fall getaway
Very cozy A frame not far from Julian town center and convenient to Nickel Beer co. Jason is very responsive when contacted. Bed was comfortable and the open windows let a beautiful crosswind for night sleeping. Home is well stocked with all you need for a short stay. Loved that it was pet friendly.

Nice and quiet.
Over all we enjoyed our stay there. It was peaceful no loud traffic, no noisy people at night time. Just the sound of silence and the wind. You are close to the little town and plenty of good restaurants to eat at.

Great little getaway cabin
Spent last weekend at this cabin. It was very very nice. We had a great time. Weather was a little warm, but it was still good. Julian is a fun little town to visit with some Great shopping. Would highly recommend staying here. We will most likely stay again. Hopefully next time the pod will be a little bit more full. The nighttime sky was fantastic.

Cute A Frame Cabin
Cabin is within walking distance to downtown Julian if you are reasonably fit. Jason was responsive and accomodating to our requeat for early checkin however there was a delay with housekeeping getting the appartment ready, but still worked out. The place was clean and comfortable. One of our party slept on the futon and it would have been nice to have linens provided. The coffee station was very well presented and varied. Only complaint is the door keypad needs work or replaced.

Apple & Gold Mine Town A-Frame - me and my husband chose this property because of its proximity to the San Diego 100 mile ultra run with its start/finish at Lake Cuyamaca Recreation and Park District, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, and the heart of Julian, CA. The property, with its rural setting exceeded our expectations - spacious with all the comforts of home.
