stay at Kaag-island
very nice family-hotel , on an amazing small island in the Kaag . even if the building is not soundproof , you may hear some other visitors entering their room , Nights are very silent , for someone from town like me . I slept very good , and in the morning a good and tasty breakfast .

The negative point was that everything was closed in the evening! No bar for guests! No information either. We had to walk and ask people in the street

The bathroom is not suitable for a big person or a person with disability. Space between toilet and sink very small. The second day when I got back late in the evening from a business meeting there was no parking available andI had to walk quite a way in the dark and being a 79 yr old woman that did not made me happy.

Nice little hotel on Kaag Island. They just installed air conditioners that were really appreciated and super quiet. Breakfast was great each morning. Would recommend this hotel

Across a canal by ferry in 30 seconds to a peaceful, quiet and scenic part of the Netherlands. Accomodating staff in a well maintained hotel. very good variety breakfast.

Orion Hotel
Nice quiet area.You are staying on an island but there is a ferry that runs back and forth all the while. It costs 4.50 euro for cars. That includes there and back. We only had one evening meal there and it was superb.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent food - dinner was exceptional, especially the steak and dinner salad. Wonderful location. I would love to stay here again. The owner was so helpful telling us things to do in the area. Windmills, walking trails, not far from Keukenhof garden.

Staff friendly and helpful
poor transport access. Nearest train station 10 kms from hotel. No bus service and taxis expensive. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms or phone. No meals or snacks available between breakfast and dinner. Would benefit from a minibus service to and from airport and to train station.
