Also take a stroll outside the resort along the river. Don't miss the speed boat ride, you will go through narrow river lanes and low bridges. "Ripples Resort made our Kerala vacation. The food, service, and accommodations were all excellent. We stayed for five nights.
We had a bungalow near the canal. It was spacious, with a big living room, a bedroom, a small dressing area (I think), and an outdoor shower. It felt peaceful and private.
We did yoga on the last three days. I wish we’d started earlier. Deepa, the instructor, checked in with us and built routines that worked for our level. I’m not usually into yoga, but I looked forward to it each morning.
The food was everything I’d hoped for—authentic Kerala dishes, full of flavor. One morning, I even got to try sweet toddy. That was a treat.
There were bugs, but picaridin saved the day. I've stayed in other resorts in the area. I'm going back to this place."
"A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together.
The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"
