"Very friendly homestay. We stayed 1 night. Excellent communication before we arrived, dinner and breakfast were delicious, the room was as described. The couple running the place are lovely."
"Beach was beautiful- World Class! The room was perfect- great size. Food was excellent with good variety for all. Pool was fun and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area. Recommend guests to go out on the beach first light to see the fishing boats come in."
"Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! "Unfortunately I had to cut short the holiday as the hotel is not what I was expecting.
It has no restaurant on site
TV did not work
WIFI was non existent
The beech is a 15 minute walk
The reception didn't look like one
The rooms were stuffy and smelt of stale air
The shower in one of the rooms did not work
The road leading to the room was muddy following the monsoon with no amenities to keep your shoes clean.
On the plus point:
The staff were enthusiastic and helpful
The rooms are big

"The boat was nowhere close to what was advertised and what we paid for. Room was advertised as premium but actual was far from it. Very poor room and supporting amenities. Linen, bathroom etc very very poor and not reflecting premium room. Poor linen - holes in linen and towels brown and very worn. No wifi on board even though advertised as with WIFI. No tissues or toilet paper as well as no bath mats. Very unhygienic facility but were asked to walk without shoes onboard."
"Great property - lovely rooms and the property was beautiful. Great location next to the beach, but the moment you step off the property it is a bit scruffy.
The room we had was nice, good food offerings and beer - all at a good price. Pool area was ok."
