"We spent about a week at this lake house and it was so nice how thoughtful the owners are with items they left from seasonings and coffee in the kitchen to endless games for rainy days and my kids absolutely loved the paddleboard and kayak! We did rent the pontoon which ran very smoothly and was a lovely way to see the lake. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Todd was very easy to get ahold of and a great Host.i highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next year! "

"we loved being in the water floating, fishing and just talking to each other. The wineries were wonderful to visit and do some taste testing, the farmer markets had some good deals with home made cheese and jerky. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them and petting their friendly dog, thank you for the use of your cottage we needed the break from the rat race called life. "We booked this house for a wedding that we attended in the Gobles area. The location was quiet and beautiful. The view of the lake across the street was amazing for sunrise/sunset. "Stayed with wife, son, and his family. My grands first visit to Michigan. Loved the trees, the lake, the quiet . . . except for the wonderful thunderstorm! The swans on Sawn Lake were an extra! Wish we'd been able to stay longer. This was a great Fall visit. I can only imagine how wonderful a summer visit would be. "

"Our house was damaged in the May 7 Portage, MI tornado so after outside repairs were completed, we moved out for 2 weeks while they completed inside repairs. While the tornado was a tragic experience for us, to be able to spend time at this location, on the lake (the sunrise is breathtaking), with family and friends was a blessing in disguise. We also had unseasonably warm September weather the entire time so we enjoyed the lake, the paddleboat, kayaks and the boat! Working with the insurance...

"Place was in a good location. Views were amazing. Having the pontoon included was a game changer. We also brought fishing boats, but being able to get many friends out on the lake on the same boat and not having to trailer a big pontoon in was incredible. Hosts were attentive and everyone loved their stay!"

"This loft was *actually* as clean and stylish as it looks in the listing photos. (Which is rare, in my experience!). The location is near the edge of the high-rise portion of downtown, making it perfect for walking in both directions (to restaurants and shopping, all within 5 min one direction, and to Bells, Outre, and other breweries, in the other direction). We had a nice stay and a lovely time in Kalamazoo. Highly recommended!!! "
