We loved our stay at The Westin Hapuna Beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming and ready to assist however they could. The rooms and other facilities were clean and updated. We enjoyed the restaurants and food available to us. The only complaint would be between the cost of food and the variety of food. Piko was a very helpful option to keep cost down but each restaurants food options were very similar and that got boring.

The hotel was beautiful, but for the price we paid it did feel a bit lacking. I just don't think the hotel goes above and beyond to set itself apart from the other luxury hotels I've stayed at in the past. This is great for a quiet stay. Great resort with the best beach on Big Island. This resort is only 300 rooms which means the pool and beach is not over crowded. You can enjoy the amenities at both this property and its sister property Mauna Kea. The only downside of this property was the food. Breakfast and coffee options are great, but lunch and dinner restaurants are bland, poorly executed, and expensive. Overall, I would recommend and plan to go back.
