"Bei Familie Maurer wurden wir sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Uns wurde alles gezeigt was wir benutzen durften . Sehr schön fanden wir das wir jeden Morgen extra für uns ausgewählte Brötchen erhalten haben und so ein tolles Frühstück für den Start hatten. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause und uns fehlte nichts denn wir genossen die unendliche Ruhe die wir zuhause leider nicht haben. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen und fahren selbst auch gerne wieder dort hin."

"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

"This was my second stay. I stayed for eight days over the Christmas holidays. The staff, service, restaurant, location, and price were all excellent and I will definitely stay here again. They had saved my information from my previous stay 6 months ago so check-in was fast and easy. On Christmas Eve I found a bag of chocolates, including a large foil-wrapped Santa Claus, at my door! What a lovely surprise!"
