The spa wasn’t open when we came which was the only downside. Other than that very close to the strip (10 min walk) but not too close so you can actually sleep at night. The lady who can book you excursions is very good (bear in mind that the companies are sometimes late due to traffic).
All staff are accommodating and friendly. Special shoutout to security he always has a smile on his face and helped us cross very busy roads. An amazing man !

Lovely. Long wide strip of white sand and clear water, some currents at parts. No boats.

Karon is a more relaxed beach resort area with excellent beach, and plenty of activities available from massage to parasailing. If you want noise and vibrancy Patong beach area is just 10 minutes drive away.

Really clean beach with friendly sun bed lenders. There are shops on he beach or a 2 minute walk away where beer is 55baht (£1.25) and ice creams are 20baht (40p).There are lots of sellers on the beach too though so you don’t have to move if you don’t want to.
