"Amazing property, Mark and Christine were great to communicate with. The place is in an amazing shape, and well maintained. Great view of the lake, close to the boat launch and a marina. There's a Dollar General a couple of minutes away where you can buy a lot of stuff, food and beer, for liquor there's a gas station in front of it that sells some. We were 2 couples on a fishing trip and we had a great time and experience, I highly recommend the place."

"Stayed here with two dogs. Place was perfect for us with a fenced in yard and nice places to walk the dogs around us. It was also super close to get to the ice rink (if you are used to walking 0.4 mile). We didn't use our cars most of the time (except for once when it rained). The places does have lots of stairs, so it is not friendly for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. We didn't have any problems, but people should be aware of that. The hosts were good communicators and went above and beyond, offering to do things that they wouldn't be required to do, like early check in. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. "Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. "We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. "
