This cabin offers a warm and welcoming environment for vacationers seeking to escape the hectic pace of everyday life. If you want to disconnect for a while, this is the perfect place; cell service is minimal, and there is no Wi-Fi. Augur Lake boasts an excellent fishery with a healthy population of pike, large and smallmouth bass, perch, and crappie. Personal watercrafts are not allowed on this lake, creating a peaceful atmosphere for those who enjoy spending their days paddling.

Great get away! Awesome fishing!

Nice getaway.

The surrounding properties are rather dire, but the cabin was great. The deck could use some TLC. Dock was not kayak friendly, the nice neighbors allowed us to launch from theirs. Lake is awesome. Quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful lakeside camp for a family

Wonderfully maintained and clean cabin that is perfect for a family of 4. The lake is fantastic as well and there are so many phenomenal hikes within a short drive.

Thanks to the great communication and pleasant stay, the cabin was cozy, cute and quiet. There was another review that mentioned the water, I did not have any issues with the water in the shower. There was a drinking water machine that was extremely nice! Cabin was clean, and the host is amazing at communication & allowing your family pets! Thank you soo much for allowing us to stay!!

Another vacation in paradise

Third time staying here, and the cabin is always cozy and has plenty of gear to allow you to enjoy the lake. We fish hard here, and always have a great time with the quality of fish and the natural beauty of the lake.

Fall in the Adirondack Mountains

First time in the Adirondacks and it was wonderful. The cabin is exactly as described and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake setting is so serene and peaceful. Definitely would recommend!

Another great getaway

Second time staying on this property and loved it. Friendly locals, and great fishing on the lake. Being it is a private lake makes it much more peaceful. Hoping to continue making annual yearly visits here.

Quiet getaway

Stayed at this lake property for a weekend with my family. Had plenty of space for all of us, was clean, and had access to the lake which is gorgeous. The neighbors were friendly when my parents when out for a walk down the road. The lack of wifi and phone service forced us to disconnect, which was really nice. If you are looking for a remote, quiet getaway, this is a great place to do so.

Great stay on Augur Lake

We had a wonderful vacation at Augur Lake. We enjoyed tubing at Au Sable Chasm, a hike to the top of Poke-O-Moonshine, a day trip to Burlington and dinner at the Ausable Brewing Co. We loved the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. My husband & kids had a great time fishing. And our dog loved everything.! I think Augur Lake is her new favorite place! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Auger Lake Escape

Very rustic. Accommodations are as previously reported in other reviews. Unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Communicate with owner prior to arrival otherwise you will have to drive back to main hwy for cell reception.
