"My parents, my husband, son and I stayed at this farmhouse for two nights while we explored the area around Kensington where my parents grew up in the 1930's. The location is super beautiful and peaceful. We loved watching the birds feed, the deer, and all of the flowers and trees. The quiet was spectacular. We also saw sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans and other wildlife. The house was so clean and had everything we could want. The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes and other amenities....

"This is my second time staying here and I am sure I will be back. I like the spaciousness, quiet, and peaceful surroundings. It is easy to get where I need to be and communication with the owner is a breeze. The place was warm during my winter stay even though the furnace can be a bit loud at times it didn't interrupt my sleep. Bonus is having laundry there and the necessary amenities for a weeks stay. "

"We all have such busy lives, we couldn't wait to spend a weekend away and your cabin was just the right place to do that ! The weather was cold and snowy ....perfect for staying in and enjoying the cozy fireplace . The children enjoyed the variety of games and toys, while we enjoyed some card games and took turns preparing delicious meals . Mornings were my favorite to see a variety of birds and small furry animals that live near by. The view of Lake Irene was stunning.....was completely...

"This property is amazing. We love the historical homes and pretended we lived in that era. The beds were comfy ,cozy and we all slept great. Easy check-in and check out is a breeze. We thought 10am was a bit early as at previous properties it was always 11am. Everything was absolutely wonderful for our stay. I would like to stay over Christmas just to see the house decorated. "
