"Spent a week there with family and dogs. Very clean and everything you could need The views are beautiful. One thing to note, if you take a dog make sure you have long leads and a torch, as nowhere enclosed to let them off before bed or first thing. Both bathrooms are en-suite as well as opening to the corridor which was a peek we didn’t expect. The perfect place for a relaxing family trip and highly recommend. "

"A short break at half term for the grandkids. Very nice accommodation. Heating tolerable for Nov but turning the thermostat up had little affect. The setting of the lodge is excellent. Nice walks and views. Thankfully the weather remained dry even if it was overcast. Would recommend this lodge and helpful owner. Lots to see/di in the area. The nearest shops are Keswick which is a drive away so buy before you arrive. The kids liked the Puzzle museum in Keswick and going out on Derwenter Water...

"We were looking for a quiet and relaxing couple of days and the Shepherds hut gave us just that. It was small and very cozy. It was warm on arrival which was very welcoming. If i were to give some feedback i would say that a couple of side lamps would be helpful. Overall an excellent stay."

"This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest. "We all enjoyed staying in the property. It had plenty room and did not feel over crowded with 8 of us staying there. The water pressure for the showers was very good. Plenty plates/cutlery etc in the kitchen. Small point was that the oven took a very long time to cook anything but otherwise all good. We would come back."

"The property is situated on a main road so there is some traffic noise but you would expect that from such a central location. Parking facilities are excellent.
