Great property. You have access to a beach and kayaks but it's not directly on the beach that you can spend a day lounging at the beach. The rooms also doesn't have water views...the view from the picture is only from one part of the hotel that I don't think is accessible to guests....once you get over that, it's a nice property and close to many amenities in the area.

The location is excellent as there are many things to do or if you just want to relax by the pier. And you will want to be outdoors because the rooms are terrible. There was sand everywhere even on the bed when we arrived. When they finally "cleaned" the room nothing improved. Sand was still everywhere including the bed. You can tell they just pulled the sheets over. They say you pay for what you get but at $400 per night I expected more. The toilet kept running over and when I called the front desk the guy gave me a plunger and said to return it when I was done. I am giving this a 3 star because of the location.

Bait & switch from the website; disappointing. We paid almost $500 for one night in a room that did not look like the pictures but like a barracks room from when I was in the army, but way junkier. Don't trust Expedia's pictures! The floors were extremely dirty, the room itself was not clean and not well kept. At least no bugs. Otherwise, the amenities were fine- decent pool (heated), nice private beach area.

Nice quiet place to spend a few days discovering Keys. Diving center on premices makes things even much better if you are planning to spend your time diving in the area. Bikes and paddle boards are there for you to take. And chickens running around. ❤

Bayside inn for the win!! The best sunsets in the island and no crowds! Snooks next door was excellent and open for all meals. Starbucks coffe Inc decaf in lobby with very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Grounds kept clean, dated rooms but clean and roomy. Wonderful amenities such as kayaks and bikes to use whenever for no additional cost!
