We liked the restaurant at the hotel and the grounds were comfortable with hammocks. Staff was nice. What we didn’t like was the noisy A|C. The bus wasn’t working and the shuttle van wasn’t large enough to hold everyone.

The property was safe and quiet. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was very small even for two people. The toilet bowl dhould be replaced because it is very low. In fact the whole bathroom should be gutted and renovated woth a larger shower and updated toilet and sink. The ceiling in the bedroom seems to need to be fixed. It is sagging and it is very visible. I eas only here for a few days. I did like the shuttle which was available all day till 10pm. The pool was clean and breakfast was great

For the price I expected way more. The rooms are beat up and hobbled together. There's no place to store anything, no surface space. The hills in the bathroom are all broken. There's no beach, it's sand thrown on the side of the canal. The front desk woman was curt and dismissive.

Our first room was by the pool and restaurant. It was very small. Music was loud. Could not sleep. Finally went and requested a different room. They were very good and did not question at all. Got us a different, better room. One that was away from the pool and quiet.

Super quaint original 1950s beach motel. Room was bright and pretty with hand painted wall art. Very shabby chic beach style. Staff was super friendly and the bus to town very handy. Great beach for hammocks and birdwatching, pool to swim and an 8 minute drive to Smathers beach to swim in the ocean . Real laid back blast from the past

Cute and quirky oldstyle motel restyling itself into a famiky resort atmosphere.. the tortoises and parrots were fun to watch. I do think the resort fee is inappropriate as this is not quite there yet.

We loved staying at the ibis bay. It’s a small and comfortable resort. But has all of the conveniences you could want. The stoned crab is a great place to grab a bite, the shuttle too and from the tourist spots is so convenient, and the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be rebooking for our next stay.
