Lovely tranquil cottage on farm
My sister and I absolutely loved staying on this beautiful and quiet farm. The cottage outside is vintage and inside is refurbished and equipped with every thing you might need for a comfortable stay. Our host, Catherine, was delightful and shared lots of local information. Five star all the way.

Lovely stay!
We loved our stay in Kinsale in this holiday home! Our host was amazing, the place was clean and exactly what we were wanting. The host had plenty of advice for the area for attractions and food. Highly recommend this holiday home, and Kinsale!

Everything we hoped for.
The "stable" was a lovely place to stay! It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Catherine was easy to reach and gave us great recommendations. I hope we can visit again sometime!

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Catherine is the model host. Her communication was clear and helpful and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at our rental. (with fresh scones no less - incredible!). We learned a bit about the area with some tips on where to eat. It was a busy night in Kinsale with a regatta taking place so finding food became a mission. Catherine called a local restaurant to make a reservation for us. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed including wi-fi. A well equipped kitchen, cozy living room, two bedrooms and two spacious baths made for a comfortable stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We were working our way around the south of Ireland and unfortunately, that meant only a two-night stay before we had to move on. We will absolutely look forward to returning to the Kinsale area and staying at the Irish Stone cottage again. Thank you, Catherine! You made our stay perfect.

Absolutely delightful!
Catherine is a genuinely kind and helpful person and great host. She is pleasant and easy to work with and was a resource prior, through our stay. The Stable met all of our needs for our family of four. Beds comfortable and it was nice to have two bathrooms. Working kitchen for breakfast. Also a washing machine and ease with parking. The scones, butter and milk are a lovely topper to all of Catherine’s care and touches to make the stay just right. Great location with quick and easy drive to town, golf courses and day trip to Killarney. Would absolutely stay here again for our return.

Fantastic
OMG…everything was amazing. Cathrine was so sweet. She made us a loaf of homemade bread for check in, she left butter and fresh milk for us too. The home is beautiful and has everything you could need. She gave us maps and suggestions for dinner, drinks and places to see! It was a fabulous stay and we can’t wait to come back to stay and to see more of Kinsale and the area. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

A Week in Kinsale
The property owner was very helpful - even purchased some gluten free bread for my gluten intolerate wife. She was a wealth of information on tourist attractions in southern Ireland. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay at this accomodation. The weather was cold and wet and we even experienced the "Katherine" storm which curtailed some of our tourism activities

Family friendly retreat
We loved our time at the Stone Cottage. Catherine was such a wonderful host and took so much time to answer our 101 questions about the gorgeous calves we were so lucky to meet and help feed during our visit. The house was perfectly located so close to Kinsale, and Catherine shared lots of recommendations on where to spend time. The house was clean and comfortable and Catherine left delicious home-baked scones, milk, butter, tea and coffee. We view was also breathtaking. We will certainly be back! Thanks again for having us all!
