"Our multi-generational family absolutely loved our stay at Fell End. The house was decorated for Xmas and is beautiful throughout. "Weather was bad for the first few days, but the cottage was lovely and cosy. We stovked up on food and enjoyed some family time. When weather improved we were able to enjoy several locations. It was a lovely qiuet lication perfect for de-sttessing, helped by the ducks."

Great small hotel in ideal location

"Second time saying here, and hopefully not the last. Really well located for exploring Cumbria and Hadrians Wall destinations. AD122 bus which takes in those locations stops right outside hotel. Really friendly staff, great breakfast, super clean rooms. Older building so expect some sloping floors and walls off-plumb. Bedrooms are upstairs with no lift, but not a problem for us. Great value, with bar serving goid food and real ale. Can’t ask for much more. "
