"What a beautiful location and lovely little cottage. We were worried about the size of the bunk beds as we didn't realise they were not full size but my daughter and friend (5'11" and 5'9" found them very comfortable). The track up to the house was more of a problem. Glad our car has lots of clearance - a small car would not have managed those pot holes!"

"It is a remote location so would suit people with a good car, pleasure in challenging walks and a break from the phone. There was plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs. "The cottage is beautiful, immaculately clean, very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious with 3 bedrooms snd two bathrooms. I would describe it as a little gem with oodles of character. "Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "

"Was left over chinese takeaway in fridge. Bed sheets were disgusting, lots of hairs and stains. Cups were unwashed. Decking was so slippy, green molud, nearly had a bad fall. Fold away chairs in main bedroom which seems to be from outside had spider nets. We came home after being there few hours and was meant to stay 4 nights. We were so disappointed, angry, deflated as saved up our hard earned cash for our 4 nights away and ended us coming home before we should have. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little gem on the outskirts of the Lake District. Communication with the owner is very friendly, the house itself is very clean and cozy, equipped with everything we could have wanted. Waking up to a splendid view over the fells and sheep meadows from the bedroom windows, followed by a nice breakfast in the garden, was one of our everyday highlights during our one week stay."
