You will stay in a spacious 60 m2 apartment set up for families in mind. From the apartment you can explore the heart of Central Jutland. The apartment can be used as a base as it is easy to reach many wonderful destinations from there. Also suited for longer stays.
The apartment is part of Døssinghus, a local historical building from 1860, located in Knudstrup in the heart of Central Jutland between Viborg, Silkeborg, Ikast and Herning. It is perfect for families with up to 2 adults and 2 children or 2 couples.
In Døssinghus, all apartments are different. You can choose between 3 apartments, all furnished with individual elements inspired by the area's local history. All our apartments are non-smoking. All apartments have a private bathroom with shower and a kitchen with stove and fridge. In addition, in the summer there is a garden bench and barbecue in the courtyard for free use.

We call this apartment "Svend" named after one of the three kings who fought for power as king of Denmark. "Svend's" apartment is the largest of our apartments and is named after Svend Grathe. The apartment has a large double bed ideal for couples. The double bed consists of two single beds of 90 x 200 cm, which are put together to form a double bed. The beds in the bedroom can be separated (please ask for seperate bed linens). In the living room there is a sofa bed for 2 people. Duvets, bed linen and towels are provided.
Døssinghus offers cozy and comfortable accommodation in Knudstrup. The army road passes close by. Here you can stay overnight in modern furnished apartments with historical details. You can spend the night on the road on a road trip, after visiting family/friends in the area or as a craftsman for a longer period of time.
We welcome tourists as well as business tourists incl. travel assemblers, seasonal workers, tradesmen, army walkers, cycle tourists and guests to events in central Jutland.
If you need accommodation for a shorter or longer period, you are welcome to book or contact us if you have any questions.
