"Good size carpark Check in at reception and all information is given. Rooms up a flight of stairs The room was an ok size as was the shower room. Bed is super comfortable Wifi is okish The shower was hot and powerful. Evening meal was excellent lots of choices and good value. Also have a planetarium! But it was £49 for a show and talk, shame no guest rates!! Would probably stay again when in the area. Location close to Hadrian's Wall and the once stood Sycamore Tree Gap!! Also has a brewery next...

Although property is old fashioned, my single room, with en suite was very clean and bed was comfortable The breakfast cerea,l yogurt etc was an unexpected bonus. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room. Member of staff on arrival friendly and helpful. I couldn’t get the tv to find any chanels, but not there long enough to enquire about it. Could do with a chair, but overall exactly what i wanted Thank you"

"After reading a review in a paper we decided to try for ourselves. The George and Dragon staff were so welcoming and friendly easy to talk to and very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy with lovely en-suite shower room , soft towels and toiletries . Breakfast and evening meal was delicious all staff made sure our dining experience was so comfortable. "Horrendous journey to the Fox and Pheasant. Worried we would miss the dinner cut off time we called through. Been traveling for over 10 hours! No problem arrive very tied to a lovely bowl of soup. Feel in to bed and had an amazing sleep. Set off next morning after a fantastic breakfast and a lovely packed lunch. Defo stop off again"
