"We had a comfortable 2 night stay with the kids in a family room. It was very clean, beds were comfy, room was very roomy, breakfast was amazing. House has lots of lovely features. Would come again."

"The hotel itself would be amazing with a refurbishment in the hotel and its facilities as the decor is tired. But I couldn’t fault the service, staff or food we had all was excellent. A comfortable bed is important and the bedding, pillows and mattress was extremely comfortable. Will definitely be returning. "

We unfortunately had a noisy couple shouting late at night in the room next door. Reception dealt with this promptly when I called them and reported it. "

"Lovely place, comfortable clean room and good breakfast. I didn’t eat in the restaurant / bar in the evening but it was packed and the food looked really good. I was welcomed at reception by a friendly helpful receptionist and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful. In all it was a really good experience and I will be returning. "

"The staff members were so amazingly helpful and friendly. As a solo traveler with a cane I struggle with stairs and excessive walking but the staff helped me to my room when I arrived and Katen even helped we all the way to the train platform across the way when I left. While this location is remote the charm and guality mke it a beautiful destination stay and the food was to die for. I had one minor issue in my room and they resolved it while I was out so 5/5"
