"We booked this property for an extended family holiday with 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and in a lovely little village in a central location to many of the local attractions including Nördlingen, Dinkensbühl and Altmuhlsee. The village itself is picturesque with several excellent gastehaus restaurants (we are at the Löwen several times - absolutely delightful!!) Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off .
