"This was my sixth stay at Mälardrottningen, so obviously I’m a fan. It’s been a few years since my last stay and there have been some changes, the reception area has been relocated and the restaurant has been updated. It’s all very nice looking but requires that you drag your luggage up a metal ramp to check in. And as before, the stairs are short and somewhat steep so hang on to the hand rail. "Lovely supportive staff. Good breakfast. Very happy with room. Communal areas in floor 4 need work. Heavily stained carpet. Looks like there’s been a flood or big spills without the carpet being cleaned or changed. "

"Directly across the street from the Central Train Station and a short walk to the T-Central (subway) hub, this is a very convenient location. The neighborhood is lively, with tons of shopping, dining, drinking, sightseeing. Room was quiet, comfortable and well-appointed."

"Amazing historic location. Excellent staff. Plunge pool(cold) and sauna terrific. Great dining. Rooms were typical small euro style but bathrooms were great. Walls windows and doors very sound proof so no trouble sleeping. Staff was very helpful. A short walk to royal palace, parliament,shopping and multiple unique dining options. Truly a wonderful place to stay in an amazing city. Was first visit to Stockholm and the most beautiful city I have been to."

"It's good for what it is: an affordable, well-located place to sleep and shower while visiting Stockholm. That said, it was initially a bit tricky to find, and I underestimated how much I in fact do need a window and TV in my room. If you are OK with that, then you should totally consider CityBox for your visit."
