"Our group of 3 loved the clean, spacious rooms and proximity to the Monkey Park and Bamboo forest. The extra space felt like a luxury after many smaller (but more expensive) hotel rooms. The Beautiful pizza restaurant a 5 minute walk from the hotel blew us away. If you like desserts, there are so many places to choose from just a short walk away. The staff were kind and accommodating of us!"

"The biggest con with this stay was that there was air conditionning only in one of the two bedrooms (with the one unequipped being on the sunny side of the house, so it warmed up very quickly). This forced our group to sleep with the bedroom doors open since the temperature in the 2nd bedroom quickly became insufferable. Otherwise, the apartment has a nice japanese feel. "We booked the premier garden suite and LOVED it. My partner is Japanese and said it reminded him of his grandmothers house growing up. The room is just a simple/beautiful traditional Japanese style room. Although the garden area could use some sprucing up, it was very nice/relaxing. We had a car and I do not not that I would have stayed here otherwise, the location is off the beaten path. That being said, the location was one of the main reasons we choose this place. We felt like locals in a sense, so we loved the location. If your an early riser like me, there are no coffee shops such within walking distance. If you want a “traditional Japanese” style room, definitely consider premier suite. No onsen but the bathroom was SO nice, it was like having our own private sentó."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. What I love the most is the private onsen in the room. It's in a semi-open space (not in the room, but under a roof kind of in the back balcony). The private onsen refills itself, and temperature regulated. It was amazing. Beautiful scenery, excellent staff, exceptional breakfast."
