This theme park has all the fun and excitement you could hope for combined with the imagination of LEGO®.

LEGOLAND® California is a park of children’s fantasy. Based around the enduring toy, with which young people have been building for decades, there are more than 60 different amusements spread across 52 ever-busy hectares. There are a number of specific zones for you to explore, such as Fun Town, Castle Hill, Dino Island and Pirate Shores, each with their own rides, games and things to see. Sail the seas on a LEGO pirate ship, admire the full-sized animals and famous people from throughout history – or construct your own car and race it around the track!Miniland USA has reproduced six different American cities in miniature – look down on the Empire State Building, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty in New York City, the White House in Washington D.C., and the Golden Gate Bridge in Los Angeles. Made up of around 20 million individual pieces, the scale of these model cities is incredible. There is also a “Star Wars”-themed area, based on the George Lucas blockbusters from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Take a Coast Cruise for a different view of Miniland, or pilot a LEGO boat around the marina, for a small extra charge.Watch the designers hard at work in the Model Lab, where ideas for new sections in the park are brought from the concept stage into the real world. Fun Town plays host to the ever-popular LEGO Factory, where the pieces are moulded, have their designs imprinted and are then packed for shipping.Enjoyable and exciting roller coasters in Dino Island and medieval-themed Castle Hill are designed to be suitable for children.Make sure to visit the LEGO shops onsite for wonderful creations and ideas that can be brought home and constructed there.LEGOLAND California is a huge place, and you won't get to see all of the attractions in one day – it's best to get a map and pick out where everyone in the family really wants to go. If you can, stay overnight at the LEGO-themed hotel or one of the many other local accommodation options, then you'll have a chance to see much more. The park is open from Thursday to Monday for most of the year and every day during some holidays. Opening times can differ depending on the season so it's best to check on the website before your trip.
