Perfect for us!

The house had everything we needed. It was a great gathering place for our family. Beautiful & peaceful property, away from the hustle and bustle of the rat race. Use Apple Maps to find it. Google maps doesn’t exactly take you there.

Family get together

The cleanliness and the up kept of the property is not up to par with the cost and cleaning cost. We had to do a lot of cleaning and wash sheets on our first day there. Cob webs on the ceiling fans, the steel roof and windows. Spiders and webs all over the front porch. Carpets have major stains and closets had bedding just thrown in there with clothes.

Nice extended weekend

We had a great time at this property with family. There were other houses nearby, but it felt very secluded and safe. Beds were comfortable. Lots of clean towels. The kids loved the kayaks, hot tub and playing ping pong. The adults enjoyed the large fire pit. Would definitely come back. We all agreed we would like to come in the summer to enjoy all the water activities. Andy was very responsive and helpful. We cooked all meals except for his suggestion of 450 North, which was absolutely delicious.

Perfect group getaway in quiet setting

Our group of 12 women loved our stay at this cabin in the woods. The property looks rustic on the outside, but the inside of the house is updated and very clean. Good mattresses with comfy sheets and pillows. There are 3 bedrooms with a full over queen bunk in each room, plus 4 twins(a bunk, plus bed with trundle) in the sunroom so plenty of places to sleep. We were impressed by the clean lake water and loved the provided kayaks and SUP’s. Some of the outdoor gear is a little rough around the edges and dated, but it was perfectly useable. The fire pit area is big with plenty of room for everyone to sit. Thanks for a super fun weekend.

Door code not working; owner said to leave the doors unlocked..Icemaker not working. Tons of clothes, rugs, and towels stuffed into the dryer. House has all bunkbeds and 1 accessible bathroom. Not allowed to use boat. Neighbors and friends show up without notice because they used to own the property or have an easement. Did enjoy swimming to the raft and catching fish.

Adult summer camp!

My family and friends of ours met up at this property to spend time together and let our kids play in the lake. My friend said it best when she said that it's like an adult summer camp! We loved the lake best. We did incur a power outage for a short time, but the owner stayed in contact with us the whole time, and kept us updated when he heard new information. The one thing we didn't realize was that one of the sleeping areas wasn't air conditioned. What we did to combat that was opened the door to that area and set a box fan in it, projecting as much cool air as we could. (It was 97 degrees that day, so any little bit helped). Overall, a wonderful time. We'd definitely go back!

Pictures on line are deceiving.

When we arrived the entrance porch had full ash trays and a bucket of cigarette butts. The game room was filthy dirty, looked like the beds were just slept in, equipment all on the floor. The outside restroom was not available, the paddle boats and kayak were extremely dirty. Andy started that boats and outside restroom doesn't open until memorial day. We were not told this. Very disappointed

Birthday Bash

Would stay again. The very large private lake was awesome for kayaking and fishing. We would probably come back in summer next time so we could swim as well. I spent most of my time in the hot tub. The house was big enough for a crowd. Three bedrooms with large double bunks in each and a bonus room that sleeps four. We loved the updated shower, big kitchen, and overall feel of the house. Scenery was beautiful. The game room was a disappointment, however. It was pretty dirty overall and the beds in there would not be somewhere I would want me or my kids to sleep. I had to completely clean a thick layer of dust and dirt off of the ping pong table and we could only find one dart. The dishes seemed dirty so I cleaned some of them but I would recommend bringing your own. The outdoor tables by the lake were very dirty as well. Except for those few issues, it was a good experience. The living room, kitchen, bedrroms, and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Overall good experience!

Beautiful property, overall just okay

Pros: I hosted a women’s retreat here and we definitely enjoyed the scenic views. As a group of 12 we had plenty of space and plenty of beds. I also appreciated the host letting us stay late Sunday. It’s a beautiful property. I also loved the fire pit and use of firewood. There were plenty of dishes and the dishwasher was great to have. I also had a hard time finding the place but the host was very responsive to me calling for directions which I really appreciated! Cons: The main complaint was the lack of essentials such as soap and toilet paper. There was a roll and a half of toilet paper and 2 nearly empty soap dispensers and 1 empty soap dispensers upon arrival. No paper products. This was not going to work for a 3 day stay with 12 people. We ended up having to make a trip to the store for these items. There were also wads of hair in the shower which some in my group complained about and we cleaned up ourselves. There was also mold in the coffee pot. It was not the cleanest place I have ever stayed though being more of a cabin I can understand some of that. We used the hot tub once and the jets would not turn off, spurting water everywhere. We had to use a hose to refill it and it took a really long time to fill and reheat so we were not able to use it a second time. If there had been info on how to use to hot tub and notice that it had issues that would have been helpful. Just being more clear about essentials provided and not provided would also be helpful.
