"We had a great experience here - the room was spacious and well equipped with incredible views of Lake Tekapo. The skylight provided a really unique and cool view of the stars at night. The hotel is in a hill above Tekapo but is an easy walk or drive into the main town. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice! Would recommend and stay here again. "

"I almost feel bad giving this property only five stars as my family and I strongly feel that this property deserves at least seven stars. Never had such a smooth check-in process. The location of the property is unbelievable. It is located very close to Lake Tekapo. When we woke up in the morning, we couldn't believe the view in front of us. The place had been maintained very well. The facilities were amazing. There was a minor confusion about a fee being charged but the owners understood the miscommunication involved and handled it in a very classy way. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the proximity of Lake Tekapo and enjoy the beauty of the location."
