"The place has got old world charm with friendly staff and excellent location. They provide complementary afternoon tea which was a novelty for us & the Indian girl who worked at that time was very polite to all the guests taking care of everyone. Our bathroom had been renovated which worked well despite dated nature of property. Only issue we felt was the lack of sound proofing otherwise it’s an excellent option for a few nights in Venice."

"We booked the suite and believe this is the only suite they have. The front desk was friendly and helpful! The check in process is very smooth. We was give a bottle of wine on a daily basis and the complimentary waters were enough to last the entire stay. The bed was huge and comfortable! The pullout sofa bed is very comfortable and our 12 and 16 year old ones were happy. The location is perfect! Overall we highly recommend this place!"

"Hotel is beautiful , like a real antique , however hotel doesn't have lift ( seems is normal in Venice) we were in second floor with super tight stair case which was difficult to take luggage, The staff were vey kind and help us to carry some luggage , but I twisted one of my knuckles when taking a suitcase to upstairs. "Perfect location. Near many of the points of interest and the water bus. One negative was the tv which had probably 200 channels and all were in Italian. We certainly didn't travel to Venice to watch tv it is nice to have something to watch in bed at night. We are English speakers but they have nothing in French, German etc. Other than that it's a nice place "
